- The Model 4758-2 valve test springs are 3.0 inches long, with an outer diameter of 0.850 inches and an inner diameter of 0.725 inches. This set includes three springs, sufficient for one cylinder, plus one spare spring. Suitable for most mainstream engines: Small-Block Chevrolet (SBC), Big-Block Chevrolet (BBC), LS-series engines, and select pushrod V8 engines.
- High Quality: Made from premium steel, it offers high strength, high toughness, and resistance to deformation, providing sufficient pressure to keep the valve assembly securely connected. It is ideally suited to withstand the demands of engine measurement tasks and simplifies the measurement of piston-to-valve clearance and rocker arm ratios.

- How to Measure the Piston-to-Valve Clearance: 1. Remove the original springs, the valve cover, and the original high-tension valve springs. 2. Install the test springs on the intake and exhaust valves; two springs are required for each cylinder. 3. Reinstall the spring seats and retaining clips. 4. Due to their low tension, these springs can be installed by hand.
- Note: This spring is not intended to replace the valve spring. It is installed only during measurement and should be inspected regularly. Once the measurement is complete, please reinstall the original spring.
